![]() At least the bus was new, clean and very comfortable but other people on that bus were already annoyed. My girlfriend was also very tired and was sleeping so didn’t want to disrupt her. ![]() When waiting at PMI I was close to walking off the bus a few times but always had the feeling that if I did, it would leave. ![]() Guys on our bus had booked ‘Speedy Shuttle’ (max 6 stops) and were the drop off before us.ĝropped off 4 hours after checking in to Hoppa Desk.ěus turned off at Inca –> Sineu -> Sta Margalida -> Can Picafort -> Acludia -> Pto Pollenca so slow back roads in the middle of the night with no explanation. We were 14th stop (max promised 10) and still people were on our bus when we departed.Ělmost 80 min wait at PMI (max 45 min stated).I also used Transunion a couple of times last year when Hoppa were going through their ‘teething’ issues with the new service provider however after a year I expected them to have their act together, the price when booking made it too good to pass up and I’d heard promising reports from other users. My parents use the service more than I do with again, mostly good service. This isn’t meant to come over as a rant and perhaps should have seen this coming but is intended a potential warning for other users.įirst off, I should state that I’ve used this service 3-4 times annually for years with mostly excellent service occasional long waits at the airport and sometimes having to go through Acludia but mostly good - for the price. 5 mins wait at airport, only 15 of us on the bus and first to be dropped off.Just back from Mallorca with a very mixed experience with Hoppa. I had paid for the speedy shuttle (extra £7 each). Having said all that our transfer from Palma to PP was fantastic. Not sure if these strikes are on going or not! yes on strike, pp effected grab a taxi while you can!!! claim on the travel ins! Luckily I had the card, and the taxi came straight away no problems, except having to pay an extra 93 euros!!! All very stressful. Friday morning, 7 am, still worried phone resort hopper again. I went down to the taxi rank late on Thursday and managed to find a taxi who could take five and he gave me his card. We were due to leave at 8am in the morning. I was travelling with my parents and my two children so was concerned if there was a problem how we would get a taxi for 5 of us. I phoned Resort Hopper 3 times, on the Thursday evening only to be told, all would be ok dont worry. Luckily we were flying with jet2 who had text me the previous day to say the strike maybe going ahead. We also got caught up in the strike on Friday 12th Aug. Thanks a lot - I won't be using them again. He also pointed to the luggage hold and left us to struggle and load our cases. The hoppa arrived for us about 15 minutes late and we were told off by the driver who said he'd been waiting at the Bahia Pollenca for us and that wasn't where we had been staying! I obviously knew where we'd been staying and wasn't even aware there was another hotel with a similar name! Why would I have given them the wrong hotel name?! The driver was out to argue the toss about this rather than letting us on the bus, even though he had our names on his list. I did that and was told, rather curtly, that I had already phoned and I had to explain that I needed the time for collection. She then said I would have to phone again later to find out what time we would be collected. The person on the phone could not find us on the records for some time but then did find us and I confirmed the name of our hotel (Hostal Bahia). I phoned to confirm our return trip just over 24 hours before we needed collecting. I appreciate that the bus could not get right to the hotel due to pedestrianisation and narrow streets but some indication from the driver as to where we needed to go would have been helpful. After waiting for 45 minutes at Palma Airport before the bus departed, we were dropped off in Puerta Pollensa at 10 pm, not at our hotel, and had to ask people for directions as this was our first visit. My daughter and I have recently used Resort Hoppa from Palma Airport to Puerta Pollenca and return.
